REACHED MY GOAL!!!
Thank you Everyone who helped in my Miracle!!
Hi Friends, Twitter buds, Facebook pals, and Flickr Folks. I have a bit of a miracle that I am hoping with a bit of tough work, some percerveriance, and some social love that I might just be able to attain my goal.
My goal is to have purchased an engagement ring by Friday February 22nd the night before Podcamp Toronto. My plans are to ask my lovely girlfriend of five years to marry me!
However, I have come upon some challenges in the past week that have sort of diverted my path a bit and forced me to spend quite a bit of money that was earmarked for the last payment on the ring. I will spare you the car story, and the other items, but I am hoping that I can add enough value to your life that you wouldn’t mind helping me out.
As most of you know I am a wood turner, and I make everything from wine bottle stoppers to exotic wood bowls. I need to sell anywhere from 5-7 bowls in the next week to be able to make my goal. The prices on my bowls run from $75 - $100 dollars and I plan to post many in the next day or two.
You might be thinking….he planned this….it’s valentines day and he wants to sucker us all into the spirit of love. Well, thats not true. It just so happens that I need to buy this ring for the one I love most, and it just so happens to fall on Valentines day. What a coincidence.
I will post pictures at the bottom of this page and if one of the bowls catches you fancy or maybe you have forgotten a present for your closest love one you can e-mail (keith@magicwoodworks.com) me with the one you are interested in. I am not going to haggle the price, and it will be first come first serve.
As a “bonus” I will give you two of my hand turned exotic wood bottle stoppers along with a $10 gift certificate that you can use at my future ETSY store front. The bowls also come with a small photo documentary of about 6-8 photo’s that will document the making of your bowl. Last but not least of course I would send link love from my blog for you as well.
Cool, thats all the extras….and now for the pictures. I will add bowls as they come to completion. Thank you for helping in my “Social Miracle”
