I am Keith Burtis, professional woodturner and cabinetmaker. I have been working with my hands creatively my whole life, it’s a trait passed down through generations of men in my family tree.

I live in a suburb of Buffalo NY called Snyder, I live in an older home that my grandmother used to own, and I feel that I am “keeping it in the family” Putting in a little TLC to make it my own.

My professional goals are to be able to go full time as a woodturning artist and writer. Many of my pieces are functional as well as artistic including wine bottle stoppers, ringholders, ornamental vases, small weed/flower pots, bowls, and childerens toys amung other things.

My wine bottle stoppers are my main staple, as I sell them through craft fairs, art shows, and wholesale to wineries and fine wine stores. I am also selling bottle stoppers that are personalized in quantity for folks that are looking for a unique item as a wedding favor.
